Clear routes into university study
Quins College qualifications are designed to progress. Each level maps onto a recognised qualification framework, so the credits you earn can be carried forward into the next stage of your education at a university in the UK or overseas.
We currently support more than thirty university progression routes. Our admissions team reviews your academic history, intended subject and destination, then explains the realistic options available.
Level 3 to Level 4
Foundation to Undergraduate
Complete a foundation programme and progress into the first year of a bachelor's degree at a partner university.
Level 5 to Level 6
Diploma to Top-Up Degree
Use a recognised Level 5 diploma to enter the final year of a BA or BSc (Hons) top-up and complete a full degree.
Level 6 to Level 7
Pre-Masters to Master's
Bridge into a master's programme with the academic and language preparation universities expect.
Level 7 top-up
Postgraduate Diploma to Master's
Carry forward certified postgraduate credits and complete the remaining modules and dissertation.
Level 7 to Level 8
Master's to Research Degree
Progress into MPhil, PhD or professional doctorate study with a supervised research proposal.

We work with awarding bodies and universities across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and Australia. Partner institutions recognise our qualifications for entry, and in several cases offer guaranteed progression to learners who achieve the required grades.
Final admission decisions always rest with the receiving university, and entry criteria can change between intakes. Our team confirms current requirements with the institution before you apply.
Credit transfer
How credit transfer and exemptions work
If you already hold relevant certified qualifications, you may not need to repeat learning you have already completed. Exemptions and waivers are assessed before registration.
- Prior certified learning is mapped module by module against the target qualification
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may reduce the number of modules you need to complete
- Exemptions and waivers are assessed before registration, on submission of certified copies
- Credit transfer decisions rest with the receiving university or awarding body
- Transcripts confirm the credit value and level of every module you complete with us
- Our team provides certified documentation packs to support your university application
