Policies and guidance

Refund Policy

This policy explains how Quins College Limited considers refund requests for tuition and administrative fees. It should be read alongside the offer letter, invoice and terms of admission issued with your application, which govern your individual agreement with the college.

01

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to all tuition fees, registration fees and administrative charges paid to Quins College Limited by applicants and enrolled students, at any study location and for any mode of delivery.

02

Non-refundable fees

The following charges cover work already carried out on your behalf and are not refundable once the relevant service has been delivered:

  • Application and registration processing fees
  • Document verification and assessment fees
  • Certified transcript, certificate reissue and courier charges
  • Bank charges, currency conversion losses and payment gateway fees
03

Cooling-off period

Applicants who withdraw in writing within fourteen calendar days of accepting an offer, and before accessing the learning platform, are entitled to a refund of tuition fees paid, less any non-refundable charges listed above.

04

Withdrawal after enrolment

Once enrolment is complete and access to study materials has been granted, refund entitlement reduces according to the point at which written notice of withdrawal is received:

  • Within 14 days of enrolment, before accessing materials: full tuition refund less non-refundable fees
  • Within 30 days of enrolment: 50% of tuition fees paid for the current stage
  • After 30 days of enrolment, or after submitting any assignment: no tuition refund
05

Visa refusal

Where a student visa application is refused by the relevant authority and the refusal is not the result of fraud, misrepresentation or non-attendance at interview, tuition fees paid will be refunded in full less an administrative charge, on receipt of the official refusal notice.

06

How to request a refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@quinscollege.co.uk from the email address registered on your application. Please include your full name, student or application reference, programme title, payment receipts and the reason for your request.

07

Processing and payment

Approved refunds are processed within thirty working days of written approval and are returned to the original payment method and account holder. The college is not responsible for exchange rate movements or bank charges applied by third parties.

08

Appeals

If you disagree with a refund decision you may appeal in writing within fourteen days of receiving it. Appeals are reviewed independently by a senior member of staff who was not involved in the original decision, and the outcome is confirmed in writing.
